Rooms and availability
1 Double bed1 Double bed, 2 Single beds
Views are good. Pub is modern traditional with real ales. Comfortable, queen size bed.
No tea bags or spoon! No snooze function on T.v and had to be switched off at mains.
The staff were lovely and the location spectacular - breakfast was good.
Jacuzzi bath did not work; no desk in room; no headboard on the bed; had to unplug the TV to plug in the kettle. Evening meal of a poor standard
Beautiful location and view, nice pub with good atmosphere
Double bed was two singles pushed together, reading lamp only on one side of the bed, no extra pillows in room (but suppled cheerfully and promptly when requested)
The Jacuzzi in our en suite was much enjoyed as was the Italian restaurant food & breakfast.
The sloping roof of our room made it a bit cramped.
Reasonable resturant, very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Views good and a very quiet situation.
Character, location, friendly staff and good choice of beer and foods.
A minor thing but noise from the kitchen downstairs, thin walls and floors I guess. This wouldn't put me off staying again though.
warm welcome, location, beers, breakfast
bed a bit uncomfortable
Our whole stay was lovely, very homely and made to feel welcome by staff and the regulars,we will be going back and taking friends with us.
The location was excellent and with found the atmosphere extremely relaxing. All staff were friendly and helpful
I like the comfort of a modern country hotel with on site Italian Restaurant. Owners lovely to talk to. Excellent country pub within the hotel with superb countryside views outside of your bedroom window. Cooked breakfast was excellent too. Perfect!
the bed was large and comfortable although the sloping roof made the bedroom cramped.
we were made to feel unwelcome, the food was mediocre and we were served coffee with cream that was off
If tou are on business becareful what time you want to leave the owners like a lay in
friendliness of owners, real ale, but above all location
Lovely location with amazing views. Comfortable rooms. Warm and cosy. Heritage building. Great place to visit the Yorkshire countryside. Good starting point for walks in the countryside.
Beautiful location, ideal for walking and very dog and child friendly
Tv in room had no signal, when went up to room for the night was told we could not come down again until the owners/staff were up as downstairs is all alarmed. Also if we were to be late in we had to ring the hotel and someone would come down and let us in - felt like naughty children Also to get to the rooms had to go through the restaurant - didnt feel comfortable with this We stayed here as on the Booked.net it was only 6 miles from Hebden Bridge where we were going to see a music gig
